Local guide to the village and resort

What to do in Réallon this summer?

Réallon is a village of 250 residents in the Hautes-Alpes, perched at an elevation of 1,560 meters above Lake Serre-Ponçon. It’s a ski resort in the winter and a destination for hiking and tree-top adventure courses in the summer. Here’s what you can do there from June through September.

1. Tree-top adventure course at Réallon Adventure Park (opening summer 2026)

The tree-top adventure park opens this summer in the larch forest above the village, near the ski resort. Three courses for ages 5 and up, continuous safety line, supervised by a certified rope access technician since 1995. This is the village’s new 2026 recreational attraction. Allow 2 to 3 hours on site; sessions at 10 a.m., 2 p.m., and 5 p.m.

2. Hikes starting from the village

3. Lake Serre-Ponçon, 25 minutes away

From Réallon, the lake is a 25-minute drive away via the D9. There are developed beaches (Chanteloube, Savines-le-Lac), pedal boat and paddleboard rentals, sailing, and supervised swimming in July and August. Combining a tree-top adventure course in the morning with swimming in the afternoon is the best way to spend a family day.
